City-Wide Facility Condition Assessments and Space Utilization

Description:

Facility condition assessment (FCA) of all District-owned buildings, including, but not limited to public schools, healthcare facilities, shelters, solid waste facilities, fire and police stations, correctional facilities, and administrative office buildings.  The FCAs identify major capital deficiencies and deferred maintenance items to determine the estimated the remaining useful life (RUL) of assets and the capital cost of improvements.

Hayat Brown’s Role:

Provide comprehensive FCAs and asset inventory in accordance with industry standards (ASTM E2018-08 and E2018-15) including architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical field surveys and assessments of internal and external building systems and site components across all facility types, sizes, conditions, and locations.  All FCA data is collected, analyzed, and reported utilizing a web-based asset management platform with iPad interface by field assessors.
